New Farmers' Market This Week
A farmers market that had been based in the Arts District is opening this weekend in a new location. The Arts District/Little Tokyo Farmers' Market has moved to Weller Court at Second and San Pedro streets because of a lack of parking and poor visibility at its old home on Third Street at Traction Avenue. The new location is closer to the residential communities of the Old Bank District and Little Tokyo. The market, which features fresh produce, food and gifts, is organized by the Los Angeles River Artists and Business Association. It will be held Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Call (323) 660-8660 or visit ladad.com/farmersmarket.
